Delivering Double the Revenue with a New Creative, Multi-Funnel Media Campaign

ChowCall is a meal delivery platform launched by a U.S. Marine veteran to deliver restaurant food and groceries to U.S. service members on and off base. ChowCall’s used their own in-house media and creative to launch their business on one base in North Carolina. While their operational components were excellent, reception of the brand was lukewarm. They soon realized the needed to create greater awareness to drive demand. That’s when they began engaging with BRITE.
The Realization
The food delivery business is promiscuous and building brand loyalty is difficult. We saw the opportunity to create preference and build loyalty by leveraging the owner’s military background to build affinity with the on-base military personnel and their families off-base. The BRITE creative team worked with the owner and talked to active-duty and retired military members to determine their needs.
The Solution
We created a fun campaign that resonated with the young on-base service members by letting them know that the brand was owned by a military vet and not a big corporate giant. We also infused our ads with military jargon and hyper-targeted social media and Google ads during peak demand periods, such as 4 p.m. on Fridays. BRITE took over all social media and digital search, display and pre-roll ads.
The Results
Today Chowcall has expanded delivery to X bases and orders have grown to double digits.
In just 6 months we DOUBLED their revenue and lowered the cost per click from $2.76 to $1 CPC
We generated a 7.48% conversion rate (the industry standard is 2.1%)
Today ChowCall is on almost every base.
